2011 has already brought us so much joy already so we find it fitting to start a new blog for our growing family.
Emily Jordyn Ebner joined the Ebner clan on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 3:23 pm. She weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces and is 20.5 inches long. The delivery went smoothly and Emily is such a beautiful, calm and wonderful baby. She sleeps a lot and I am constantly waking her to feed. Unlike Samantha who was bottle-fed from the start, Emily prefers breastmilk which is quite an adjustment for me. But it seems to be getting better and I am taking it day-by-day.
Samantha has been so wonderful in welcoming her little sister to our family. She constantly wants to help us with chores around the house and wants to hold her sister every chance she gets. She is so loving and nurturing, is constantly kissing Emily and even has her own "baby" voice for her. I can honestly say, there is nothing more precious and heart warming than to see my children love eachother so much. Ryan and I are very blessed and lucky to have two beautiful little girls!

E.J.! We are so happy you have joined our amazing family!!! We are all so lucky to have another beautiful princess! The Ackermans cant wait to meet you so soon. And of course we cant wait to see Sam in her new role of a big sister!
